Israeli forces shoot, injure 15 Palestinians

Gaza, At least 15 Palestinians were shot and injured with live bullets, and others suffocated as Israeli occupation forces attacked Palestinians who took part in the “Great March of Return” protests along the border between the Gaza strip and Israel, said local sources.

Gaza’s health ministry said in a statement that 5 medical staff members were shot and injured by Israeli forces.

Israeli forces used live and rubber-coated steel bullets against Palestinians protesting peacefully to the east of the coastal enclave, shooting and injuring at least 15 people, the sources added.

Scores others suffered from suffocation due to inhaling tear-gas fired by the forces.
