Israeli forces, settlers besiege Tuqu’ School in Bethlehem

Israeli forces and a number of extremist settlers early Monday besieged Tuqu’ Boys High School east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Mayor of Tuqu’ Tayseer Abu Farah said that the occupation troops and settlers, were stationed at the school’s gate, as the soldiers fired bullets, tear gas canisters and stun grenades in an attempt to storm it.

He added that Israeli forces and the settlers withdrew from the area as clashes erupted with Palestinian residents.
