Israeli forces injure 17 Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem

At least 17 Palestinian demonstrators Tuesday were injured by Israeli occupation forces in occupied Jerusalem, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

The PRCS said three Palestinians were taken to hospital, and the rest received medical treatment on-site.

The Israeli troops opened fire on an ambulance and prevented medical staff from getting to the site, and they turned the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem and the adjacent area into a “military barricade” ahead of the Israeli planed “flag march.”

Israeli Jewish settlers have been calling for a “flag march” that was supposed to take place Tuesday after the activities were put off following a flare-up in the Gaza Strip that was mainly ignited by the Israeli measures in Jerusalem.
