Activists in Irbid staged a protest after the Isha’a prayer on Wednesday evening to denounce Israeli attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque and worshipers. Participants, in the protest that was carried out in front of Al-Hashemi Mosque in central Irbid, northern Jordan, affirmed their support to by worshipers in Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif, and saluted their steadfastness against the Israeli military machine and the barbaric attacks carried out by the extremists. They urged the international community to assume its responsibilities towards these attacks and prevent them, stressing that this is a dangerous escalation that would ignite a crisis the consequences and extent of which are unknown. They called on the international community and the Arab and Islamic countries to support Jordan and Palestine’s position in international forums to stop the Israeli aggression.
