Iraq reports 1,960 new daily COVID-19 infections, 34 fatalities

More than 1,960 COVID-19 cases were reported in Iraq Wednesday, pushing the caseload to some 556,730, according to the Iraq Ministry of Health.

COVID-19 killed 34 within the last 24 hours, as the death toll in the Republic hits 12,340, it added.

The Ministry highlighted that around 486,330 people have recovered from the highly contagious disease so far.

The Ministry of Health announced 7 Covid-19 fatalities and 934 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Sunday, bringing the death toll to 4,224 and the caseload to 320, 453. WHO offers 300 tablets to Jordanian health ministry

To support the collection of data within the COVID19 National Immunization Electronic Data System, the World Health Organization (WHO) has provided Jordan’s Ministry of Health with 300 tablets.
