Iran reports 18,700 daily COVID infections, 394 fatalities

Some 18,700 COVID-19 cases were recorded in Iran Sunday, pushing the caseload to more than 2.5 million, according to the Fars News Agency.

Fars cited the Health Ministry as saying that COVID-19 killed 394 people in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll in the Islamic Republic to 72,484.
