Iran records 78 new COVID-19 fatalities Wednesday

The Iran Ministry of Health confirmed Wednesday 78 COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours as the death toll exceeded 6,400, according to the Fars News Agency.

More than 1,600 COVID-19 cases were confirmed today, the Ministry said, bringing the caseload to more than 100,000.

It said that more than 81,000 had recovered.
