Integrated dental clinic inaugurated at Al Hussein Social Foundation for Orphans
Deputizing for His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Minister of Social Development, Ayman Mufleh, launched integrated dental services at Al Hussein Social Foundation for Orphans.
The clinic’s rehabilitation work, which was presented from HRH, the Crown Prince, to orphaned children residing in care homes on the occasion of International Orphan Day (IOD), marked annually on the first Friday of April, with the aim of intensifying efforts devoted to caring for orphans, according to a ministry press statement issued Thursday.
Under the rehab works, the clinic was restored, and medical devices and supplies necessary for dental care were provided, within the “highest” technical specifications, said the statement.
The clinic will provide its services to all children in government and charity orphan centers, whose number amounts to 1,200 in 20 care facilities countrywide, under the supervision of a pediatric dentist, from the Royal Medical Services (RMS), noted the statement.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, Mufleh affirmed the continued attention paid by HRH, the Crown Prince, to support orphan children and secure their needs, in line with the Royal vision aimed at strengthening and empowering all segments of Jordanian society.
