The Industrial Producers’ Price Index in the first tertile of 2022 inched up by 15.07 percent to 136.75 points against 118.84 in the same period of 2021, according to the latest figures.
The Department of Statistics (DoS) report issued Wednesday indicated that the index amounted to 145.80 points in April 2022 against 121.81 points in April 2021, signaling an increase of 19.69 percent.
The index, according to the figures, went up by 6.10 percent in April 2022, hitting 145.80 points against 137.43 points registered in March of the same year.
