Some 257,300 COVID-19 cases were recorded in India Saturday, as the caseload tops 26.3 million, according to the United News of India (UNI).
The UNI cited the Indian Health Ministry as saying the highly contagious respiratory disease killed 4,194 people in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll in the subcontinent to 295,525.
