In-class education in private educational institutions, whether schools or kindergartens, will be resumed by 100 percent for the next academic year 2022/2021, while continuing to apply the health protocol to maintain the safety of students and their teachers, according to an Education Ministry official.
Director of the Private Education Department at the Education Ministry, Fayez Ma’areef, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Wednesday that the ministry will implement a program for educational materials loss for students in private schools from first grade to high school, starting from August 15 until September 12, according to educational materials that include basic Arabic and English languages, mathematics and sciences prepared by the Curriculum Department and textbooks in the Ministry of Education.
Minister of Education, Mohammad Abu Qudais, had met separately with President of private school owners association and a number of private school owners from different governorates of the Kingdom, stressing the ministry’s keenness to continue the educational process in all private sector schools.
