House committee lauds Doha’s aid to Jordan

The Jordanian-Qatari Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee at the House on Thursday praised the Qatari initiative to support the Jordanian economy with a $500 million investment package and 10 thousand job opportunities for Jordanians in the Gulf country.

The committee’s chairman, MP Abdullah Al-Akayla, described the Qatari initiative as “a noble brotherly position that reflects the honorable history of the bilateral ties.” In a letter on the occasion, Al-Akayla expressed hope the diplomatic relations between Amman and Doha would return to normal, referring to continuous parliamentary efforts in this context.
