The Ministry of Health (MoH) Monday launched a centralised automated system to manage patient beds in public hospitals across Jordan.
Haitham Dweiri, the head of the MoH crisis directorate, said that the Ministry has designed the centralised system to manage the process of prioritising patients and the allocation of beds based on the condition of patients.
The MoH crisis directorate will have access to the electronic system to monitor the referrals and admissions to hospitals. All information will be collated to indicate the number of beds available.
