Health Minister Firas Hawari discussed, virtually over the video conferencing platform Zoom, with the CEO of the GVM Group means to establish advanced medical research centers and train a number of medical cadres affiliated to ministry.
The ministry, in a statement, said the discussions came as a result of Hawari’s visit to Italy last year during the meetings of the European Corporate Council on Africa and the Middle East.
GVM group is an Italian Care and Research Group offering medical and scientific excellence at 49 structures located not only in Italy, but also in France, Albania, Poland and Ukraine. It is also the foremost Italian Group as regards territorial extension, employing over 9,000 people with the aim of placing patients at the center of an integrated network of state-of-the-art healthcare facilities.
