Jordan’s imports of grains through the Aqaba port picked up by 20 percent to about 518,000 tons in the third quarter of 2021, compared to 431,000 in the same period of 2020.

The volume of cargo entered the Kingdom by the Aqaba port inched up by 8 per cent in the first nine months of the current year to reached nearly 580,000 tons against 541,000 in the same reporting period of 2020, he added.
