Gov’t follows up on missing Jordanian boy
Amman, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Monday said it was following up on reports that a Jordanian child, who has been missing since 2007, might be in Egypt.
A spokesman for the ministry said it had received new information and details from the father of Ward Rababah, whose disappearance in 2007 drew wide public attention, that his son might be in Egypt.
Ward’s father told the ministry that he received a picture, through Facebook, of a young boy he thinks looked like his missing son.
Sufian Qudah, the ministry’s spokesman, said the ministry will follow up on this issue with the Egyptian authorities.
