Global COVID-19 deaths top 4.5mn

The total number of global COVID-19 deaths has surged to 4.5 million, as of Monday, according to the Johns Hopkins University.

The University, in its latest update, revealed that the current global caseload has reached about 220.6 million. The United States accounted for the world’s highest number of cases followed by India then Brazil, it added.
