Global COVID-19 cases top 224mn

The total number of global COVID-19 cases has surged to 224.2 million, as of Sunday, according to the Johns Hopkins University.

In its latest update, the University revealed that the current global death toll reached around 4.6 million. The website said that the United States is the worst-hit country with the world’s highest number of COVID-19 cases and deaths, followed by Brazil and India.
