Gaza health ministry warns of fuel shortage on medical services

Gaza, The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned of stopping services in the upcoming days due to the fuel shortage triggered by the austerity measures carried out at hospitals and medical centers.

On a related context, Gaza Electricity Distribution Company (GEDCO) announced a fluctuating deficit on the current plan to distribute energy in the coastal enclave for household and heating needs.

The available electricity power in Gaza is 205 megawatts, while the strip needs up to 560 megawatts, with a deficit of about 355 megawatts, the company said.
