Fuel prices to go up in January

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ fuel pricing committee Friday decided to raise the prices of oil derivatives for the month of January.

According to the committee’s decision, the selling price of 90-octane gasoline will go up JD0.015 to JD0.850 per litre, 95-octane gas will be increased by JD0.015 to JD1.085 per litre, while diesel, kerosene and cooking gas cylinder were fixed at their current prices.

The committee announced the price hike during its monthly meeting to set the selling prices in the local market based on global petroleum prices.
