Foreign Ministry condemns Philippines terrorist attacks
Amman, The Foreign Ministry on Monday condemned the two terrorist attacks that targeted civilians and policemen the southern Philippine town of Jolo, the capital of Sulu, one of the country’s southernmost provinces, and resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.
Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Al-Fayez reaffirmed Jordan’s solidarity with the government and people of the Philippines.
He also affirmed Jordan’s rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that target people indiscriminately.
He expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
