Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, on Thursday, held a series of meetings with international officials to discuss the severe situation in the Palestinian territories.
Safadi met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, as the two sides supported the Palestinian legitimate rights, namely, establishing an independent Palestinian state on pre-June 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Safadi, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting, also met with the foreign ministers of Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Algeria, Tunisia.
Safadi met with his Turkish counterpart, US ambassador to the UN, in addition to the foreign ministers of Indonesia, Maldives.
