FM, Estonian counterpart discuss cooperation on COVID-19

Amman, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi and Estonia Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Reinsalu discussed over the phone Monday bolstering cooperation on the COVID-19 pandemic and pooling effort to overcome regional challenges.

Safadi and Reinsalu discussed international effort aimed at crystalizing a strategy to address the COVID-19 pandemic and its regional ramifications, chief of which are those linked to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the return of refugees.

The top two diplomats underscored the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Estonia and their keenness to further strengthen cooperation in all fields.

Estonia is holding the presidency of the UN Security Council for May.
