Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on Tuesday congratulated the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, on the success of the country’s legislative elections.
During a phone call, Safadi described the success of the electoral process as a “major accomplishment” on the road to reconstruction and achieving the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
Safadi underlined that the Kingdom stands with Iraq, and supports the Iraqi government’s efforts to ensure stability and protect Iraq’s interests and sovereignty.
