Education minister takes part in Education World Forum

Minister of Education Tayseer al-Nua’imi on Wednesday took part in the Education World Forum 2020, which concluded in London today, and saw the participation of education officials and scholars from across the world.

On the sidelines of the forum, Al-Nua’imi met with Minister Al-Nuaimi met with British Minister of State for Schools Nick Gibb and other officials focusing on aspects of joint cooperation and programs, particularly those related to Jordan’s bearing on the burden of Syrian students in Jordanian schools, and ways to develop teaching English language.

The minister also met with Ukrainian Minister of Education and Science, Hanna Novosad for a discussion on the conditions of Jordanian students in Ukraine and ways of solving their problems.

The Education World Forum, held by the United Kingdom in January of each year, is the largest gathering of education ministers and major international educational institutions in the world, and aims to discuss education development strategies and review the challenges of planning in the field of education at the global level.
