Dutch delegation visits HTU

A delegation from the Dutch Embassy in Jordan, who visited Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), a Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) initiative, was recently briefed on the HTU’s educational programs and discussed ways of cooperation and future partnerships.

The delegation, chaired by Marc Hasselaar, Deputy Ambassador, and Policy Adviser on Education and Employment at the Embassy, Nawal Kotob, met with HTU president, Ismael Hinti, and a number of HTU academics and administration staff.

Hinti presented the HTU’s vision, educational programs and study plans, and key local and global partnerships established by the university with reputable educational institutions and academies specialized in the fields of engineering and computer science.

He said the university always seeks to develop its programs in the interest of students and enable them to enter the labor market with readiness.

For his part, the Dutch Deputy Ambassador lauded the HTU’s role in supporting Jordanian youth by providing technical education and partnering with industrial and business sectors to create training and employment opportunities for them.

He stressed the Dutch Embassy’s keenness to support and develop various projects and programs that serve Jordanian youth and contribute to reducing unemployment rates.
