Drug dealers, wanted man arrested in Northern Badia

A joint security force from the Northern Badia Police Department and Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Saturday, arrested a drug dealer and his brother after raiding their house in al -Hamediah area east of Mafraq city, who were found in possession of different quantities of drugs, a security source said.

After receiving a tip-off on drug traffickers, the joint security force raided the two suspects’ house, where they found in possession of 15,000 Tramadol pills, 284 palm-sized sheets of hashish as well as 95,000 Captagon pills, the source added.

The two suspects were referred to the legal authorities for further investigations, the source added.

Also yesterday, the CID in Um al-Jamal security centre arrested a suspect in his thirties from Zaatari area, with a criminal record of 33 cases, most of which are robbery.
