Dozens of Palestinian students suffocated by tear gas fired by Israeli forces

Ramallah, Dozens of Palestinian students suffered breathing problems Tuesday when Israeli occupation troops fired tear gas against at a school for girls in the village of Al-Mughir north east Ramallah, a Palestinian source said Tuesday.

Member of Al-Mughir village council, Marzouq Abu Na’eem, said in a statement that Israeli forces stormed the village early today, searched a number of the houses, and fired tear gas at the students heading to the school.

He stressed that Israeli troops were still present in various parts of the village, preventing residents from leaving their homes.
