Dozens of individuals fined, stores closed for health violations
Amman Municipal teams Monday recorded dozens of health safety violations and ordered the closure of stores during inspection visits to facilities to check compliance with defence orders, according to the municipality’s daily report.
It said that 40 individuals were found in violation of Defence Order No. 20 in the Central Vegetables and Fruits Market, and fines or closure orders were issued to 66 stores for health safety violations.
The municipality urged adherence to safety orders, including wearing masks and physical distancing, to avoid coronavirus infection.
