Over the past two months, Industry and Trade Office in the Capital Secretariat destroyed today,Monday, more than 72 tons of expired food and consumer goods. The director of the Industry Office in the capital secretariat, Majid Al-Sada, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that these materials were destroyed in accordance with legal procedures, and in the presence of the member of the Industry and Trade Prosecution. He stressed the continuation and intensification of control campaigns on food and seasonal commodities for the month of Ramadan in accordance with the upper ceilings of the price list issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the keenness to redouble field efforts and go to markets and shops in all the secretariat's directorates to control price and ration violations.
