Deputizing for the King, Crown Prince receives Speaker of the S. Korean National Assembly

Amman, Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, HRH Crown Prince Hussein Ben Abdullah II received on Thursday Speaker of the National Assembly of South Korea, Mon Hee-Sang.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince and Hee-Sang stressed the depth of relations between Jordan and South Korea and the keenness to develop them to the highest levels to achieve interests of both countries and peoples.

Opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the economic, investment, educational, cultural and parliamentary fields were reviewed.

The Crown Prince expressed Jordan’s appreciation for S. Korea’s continuous support to the Kingdom in the economic and development sectors, adding S. Korea is an important partner in the implementation of development projects, especially the energy enterprises.

For his part, Hee-Sang voiced his country’s keenness to expand joint cooperation with Jordan, and expressed appreciation for the Kingdom’s important role under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II to achieve peace and stability in the region and the world as well.

President of the Senate and the Korean Ambassador in Amman attended the meeting.
