Death toll from Israeli shelling in Gaza rise to 27
Gaza, Palestinian civil defense crews and ambulances recovered Monday the bodies of two Palestinians who were killed last night as a result of Israeli shelling of a residential tower in the Sheikh Zayed Towers area in the northern Gaza Strip.
The bodies of martyr Talal Attiya Abu al-Jidyan and his wife, Raghda Mohammed Abu al-Jidian, arrived at the Indonesian hospital in the northern Gaza Strip hours after the arrival of the body of their son Abdul Rahman, 12, said Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qadra.
A total of 27 Palestinians have been killed and 154 others injured in Gaza since the start of the Israeli escalation on Saturday.
