The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Federal Archival Agency (Rosarkhiv) of the Russian Federation have signed a cooperation agreement concerning increasing knowledge and technical exchange in the field of document and archive preservation to boost cultural and archival cooperation between the two countries.
The signing took place at the eighth meeting of the Saudi-Russian Joint Committee held in Moscow.
The agreement entails organizing a visit for a representative from Darah to Rosarkhiv to learn about the Russian experience in document preservation and cooperating to develop archival capabilities and preserve cultural heritage in both countries.
