Cabinet approves investor grievance bylaw

Amman, The Cabinet decided at its meeting on Wednesday chaired by Prime Minister Omar Razzaz to approve the 2019 investor grievance bylaw.

The bylaw comes to establish a transparent mechanism to enable the investor to submit a grievance report with regard to any decision, abstention or procedure taken by governmental bodies.

It also seeks to address obstacles facing economic activity, and to find a mechanism to settle any investment dispute between government agencies and investors amicably within a maximum period of six months and follow necessary means to resolve it.
