Benefactors have donated a total of JD49,814 to those affected by a four-story residential building collapse in the capital’s downtown Luweibdeh area.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Social Development said that it is still receiving donations either via the ministry itself or the eFAWATEERcom online payment platform.
Minister of Social Development Ayman Mufleh underscored that the donations will be fully designated to those affected by the incident, noting that the ministry has already secured alternative residence for them and will continue to do so until their situation stabilizes.
