Bahrain court sentence 60 on terrorism charges
The Bahrain High Criminal Court issued verdicts in cases against 60 defendants, convicting them of forming a “terror group” and of killing a police officer. The verdicts ranged between execution, imprisonment, acquittal, and stripping of citizenship.
The defendants were charged with joining a terror group, training to use weapons and explosives against police officers, importing, possessing, using explosives, and firearms, stealing, and assaulting government personnel and resisting them, and helping fugitives escape.
