Authorities lift lockdown on 2 buildings in Irbid
Authorities in the southern governorate of Irbid on Wednesday decided to lift the quarantine on two buildings in Al-Turkman neighborhood and Al-Manara district.
Irbid governor, Radwan Atoum, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the decision, based on the recommendation of the epidemiological committee in the governorate, was made, after 14 days of placing them under isolation.
Atoum, who is also head of the coronavirus crisis cell committee in Irbid, said all samples collected from those in contact with two infected persons, who live in both buildings and tested Covid-19 positive two weeks ago, have all returned negative.
