Arab league urges Somali parties to end violence
Cairo, The Arab League is observing with concern the developments in Somalia and pleading all the conflicting parties to come to the negotiating table to stop the violence the has gripped the country and hold elections.
An official at the pan-Arab organization reasserted the organization’s commitment to finding a solution that would be acceptable to all the Somali parties to restore peace and stability in the country and meet the aspirations of its people.
The organization said it is concerned with the alarming rise in violence in the capital Mogadishu amid the election crisis.
