Amman stock market nudges lower at today’s closing
Amman, The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE), the country’s stock market, dropped 0.76 percent to 1,582m points at the closing of Monday’s trading session as the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic continues to overshadow economic and financial activity.
A total of 1.6 shares were traded for JOD2.2 million, the market’s authority said in a statement, adding that 689 transactions were concluded today. Also, 34 listed companies saw their shares falling in the red territory while 11 shares rose. The share price of another 6 firms remained unchanged.
