Amman condemns attack on Romanian embassy in Kabul

Amman, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Wednesday inveighed against the terrorist attack that was carried out against the Romanian embassy in the Afghani capital Kabul early Tuesday that killed an employee at the embassy and injured two others.

The head of the Foreign Ministry’s operations center, Sufian Qudah, said that Jordan condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted the embassy of the Romanian Republic, describing it as a violation of international law and the Geneva Convention, which calls for protecting and respecting diplomatic missions.

Qudah expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and hoped for a speedy recovery for the injured.
