A total of 282 COVID-19 cases were recorded in Algeria on Tuesday, bringing the caseload to some 122,999, according to the Algeria Press Service.

 

The coronavirus claimed the lives of 9 people within the last 24 hours as the death toll in the North Africa county tops 3289, the news agency cited the spokesperson of the Coronavirus Follow-up and Monitoring Committee as saying in his daily brief.
