Al-Dughmi stresses Lower House support to sports, youth movement

Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament, Abdul Karim Al-Dughmi, lauded the Jordan Youth and Sports Organization’s role in promoting and highlighting the role of the movement’s pioneers in several areas since the establishment of the Jordanian state, a hundred years ago.

Al-Dughmi gave his remarks during an honoring ceremony organized by the Jordan Youth and Sports Organization for Sherif Fawaz Sharaf on the occasion of receiving the Order of the State Centennial.

Al-Dughmi reaffirmed the house’s keenness to activate the role of the parliamentary youth and sports committee, stressing that the house’s doors will remain open to adopt issues that concern the Jordanian sports and youth movement.

For his part, Sherif Fawaz Sharaf expressed appreciation for the organization’s initiative and its leading role in several areas, and the importance of strengthening its role, expressing his pride in the Order of the State Centennial, which he presented to the Organization’s family.

Sharaf valued the speaker’s keenness to attend the ceremony, which reflects the house’s role towards promoting and supporting the sports and youth movement, now and in the future.
