Agreement signed to establish Jordanian-Palestinian agricultural marketing company

Amman, Minister of Agriculture Khalid Al-Hneifat and his Palestinian counterpart Sufian Al-Tamimi signed on Wednesday, an agreement on the establishment of a Jordanian-Palestinian company for agricultural marketing with a capital of $18 million.

The company is an outcome of discussions and studies to overcome the problem of marketing agricultural crops that has been facing the two countries for years.

The company will establish marketing centers in Europe and the Arab region as well as packing stations in Jordan and Palestine.

Al-Hneifat said the company will contribute to boosting Jordanian-Palestinian ties and serve both countries in the agricultural marketing field.
