Minister Urges Stronger Role of Jordan’s Health Centers

Zarqa: Health Minister Dr. Ibrahim Bdour announced the ministry’s commitment to activating and strengthening the role of Jordan’s health centers as part of its efforts to alleviate pressure on emergency wards in government hospitals. He emphasized that this vision will be achieved by positioning health centers as the primary stage for healthcare services, which is expected to enhance the efficiency of the Kingdom’s healthcare system and expedite the delivery of treatment to citizens.

According to Jordan News Agency, this announcement was made during Dr. Bdour’s visit to four comprehensive health centers in Zarqa governorate and Russeifa district. During his visit, he reviewed the workflow and was briefed by medical and administrative staff on the service levels and the key challenges facing healthcare activities. The minister highlighted the ministry’s dedication to developing the work environment and improving performance efficiency in these centers, which would directly impact the quality of healthcare services.
