549 new COVID-19 cases in Jordan, 544 local infections
A total of 549 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Jordan on Thursday, 544 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 6,591, a statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Health Ministry said.
The local, the statement added, include 313 cases in Amman, 118 cases in Zarqa, 34 cases in Balqaa, 14 cases in Irbid, 37 cases in Karak, 5 in Jerash, one in Madaba, 12 in Maan, 3 in Ajloun, 6 in Mafraq, and one in Aqaba.
The infections from abroad involve 5 people who travelled from abroad.
A total of 125 recovery cases have been confirmed in Jordan on Thursday.
A total of 15,282 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests since the beginning coronavirus crisis to 1,127,661.
