UK: COVID curve continue to drop

Canada reports 9,220 COVID infections

Canada Saturday reported a recorded high of 9,220 daily COVID-19 infections, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) said, attributing the high increase to the newly discovered COVID variants.   Theresa Tam, who is the chief public health officer of Canad, said in a statement hospitals in Ontario have stopped operating “unnecessary” surgeries due to the overwhelming number of COVID-19
