2 million e-government transactions performed in November

About two million e-government transactions have been performed in November, according to figures released on Tuesday by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

The figures showed that 1,590,181 electronic transactions have been performed, compared to 409,776 traditional paper-based transactions.

“A total of 416 electronic services have been included in the e-government transactions, representing the ministries of education, labor, tourism, justice, interior, energy, social development, industry, health, local administration and public sector development,” the ministry said in a statement.

It also represented the Jordan Investment Commission (JIC), the National Aid Fund, the General Intelligence Directorate, the Civil Status Department, the Department of Land and Survey, Greater Amman Municipality and the Civil Service Bureau.

Additionally, it covered the Companies Control Department, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department, the Income and Sales Tax Department, the Jordan Customs, the Supreme Judge Department, the Jordanian Nursing Council, Social Security Corporation and the Vocational Training corporation.
